Jaber recently found out his mother is ill and faces a long and expensive medical battle. A fundraiser has been organized by the Guttenberg PBA to assist the medical bills and allow her to get treatment she needs.
As of Tuesday, June 20, more than $9,000 has been raised.
"We want him to concentrate on helping his mother recover, not on medical bills," Andres Lozano, who helped organize the fundraiser said. "Times like these are when we must come together to help one another."
